There were a lot of great moments in the final episode, but I decided to draw something based off this little thing near the end.
Spectrum 21, End of the End of Everything
I am very honored to have 8 pieces be selected into this year’s Spectrum 21 illustration Annual.
Among them is a new piece called “End of the End of Everything” for Tor.com. It has also been selected into Communication Arts 22 Illustration Annual. The illustration is for a wonderfully scary horror novelette by Dale Bailey. It sets in pre apocalyptic earth and the stories revolves around suicidal parties, libertine orgies and amputation performance art. I don’t think I have ever been so shaken by a short story like I was by this one.
The Tiger Beer art is nominated as one of the medal finalist in advertisement category, woohoo!
My big thanks to the judges and congrats to all the winner. Thanks again to my art directors Aviva Michaelov (NYTimes), SooJin Buzelli (PLANSPONSOR), Irene Gallo (Tor), Jordan Awan(New Yorker), April Montgomery (Computer World) and Dylan Davies (Rothco)!

TURNS AWAY AND FUCKS THEM HOES
I can’t stop laughing.
this is so perfect I wish they would animate this.
I really wanted to make a print out of this but I find it incredible hard to print dark colors. I will just leave it as an illustration I might add for that little fantasy artbook I have been planning forever.
i like girls who look like they kill people for a living
I knew there was a reason I based Bimini off of her…

"Welcome to our home, milady. Please do not hesitate to ask of me anything you might need to make your stay here more comfortable."
Just as was rehearsed, Isa thought as she brought the woman’s hand to her lips in one swift, practiced motion. Everything had been much-practiced in anticipation for today’s welcome, actually, from the way she would walk and talk and smile, to what conversation topics were and were not acceptable for this evening’s meal (her and the elder Devereaux boy’s most recent drunken escapades being in the “not” category), to the way she would eat in her new jerkin and thrice-damned sleeves that she just knew would find their way in the gravy come dinner time. Gods, the lace trim looked hungry even now.
At least she’d managed to get a suitable reaction from the blushing young lady, to whom Isa flashed her most welcoming smile. As far as the noblewoman knew, the pirate Legato and his wife did have two children, each old enough to apply to the division of their choosing, but, Isa was pleased to find on the woman’s face, their genders had yet to be addressed.
“Forgive me, but are you Lord Legato’s son or daughter…?
Actually, this evening could be fun.
Noru, please stop being so perfect.
The Black body, more so of women, have stood on the opposite side of the narrow Eurocentric standards of beauty. Black hairstyles have defiantly rebelled against and even when straightened added creative magic of Blackness and Boldness.
Black hair, whether relaxed or natural, locked or shaven is beautiful. Black women are beautiful.

painted bat (Kerivoula picta) is a species ofvesper bat in the Vespertilionidae family.
It is found in Brunei, China, India, Indonesia,Malaysia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam. It is found in arid woodland.
The body and tail are the same length. The body length is 3 to 5.5 cm. The tail length is 3 to 5.5 cm as well. The wingspan is 18–30 cm in length.
Small groups of these animals are often found in the most unlikely roosts such as in the suspended nests of weaver finches and sunbirds or under the eaves of African huts. Doubtless the bright and broken coloration of these bats is a form of camouflage to protect them while they roost in vulnerable sites. Although nothing is known of their reproductive habits, Painted bats have nuclear family units -that is, a mother, a father, and young. Hunting flights last around 1-2 hours.
Besides the coloring it is otherwise a fairly normal microbat that uses sonar to catch insects at night.
They live in Southern and eastern India to southern China. They are rare and live in groups of only 2–6.
Colors for Kerivoula picta are bright orange or scarlet, with black wings and orange along the fingers. As in other forms of Kerivoula, K. picta possesses long, wooly, rather curly hair, a small, fragile form, large funnel-shaped ears and 38 teeth.
